We invite various frame companies to proudly show off their entire line of frames for the season. Our staff and company frame representative will assist in choosing the right one frame for your face and for your needs. Vision and Learning Workshop

A workshop in which we discuss the problems related with vision and learning problems. We also discuss how in many cases, A.D.D. can be confused with visual problems.
About 20% of children and adults have vision problems that make reading very difficult. Their ability to focus, aim, track or scan a line of print is not up to the hard work of reading. All these visual abilities, plus critical visual perceptual skills must work well for reading to be fast, efficient and fully comprehended.
In this workshop on vision and reading, you will learn about the many studies which state that certain vision problems should be treated first, before tutoring or special instruction.
You will learn to test for and identify these problems yourself, plus have time to ask questions about the special people in your life.

Please call our office at (858) 560-5181 and ask Dory or Mary to include your name for the next workshop. We prefer to limit the workshops to 10 people. There is no charge to attend.

Corporate Vision Screenings

We are very proud to be the optometric office carrying out Vision Screenings at the Health Fairs of various corporations. VSP is also represented at these same Health Fairs. The purpose of these vision screenings is to offer to the staff members of these corporations, an evaluation of their vision, as well as to offer free advice regarding their vision.

Our doctors have been selected to screen various schools to evaluate their students' vision. This offers the parents the opportunity to have knowledge of potential deficits in the vision of their children.
It is then up to the parents to take action in following up with a comprehensive visual examination with an eye doctor of their choice.

Our office is very proud to offer parents the opportunity to attend a Free Visual Perceptual screening of their children in our office. This is usually offered on a Saturday afternoon.
